Question about hair color.?

I colored my hair from light brown to blonde, or at least tried to. my entire hair turned carrot orange, it's horrible. anyway, i was told that i have to wait 48 hours before coloring it again. only problem is, i have a christmas office party to go to tomorrow night and I sure don't want to go with orange hair. Why do i have to wait 48 hours? will it hurt me any to recolor my hair the same day? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Question about hair color.?

honestly if you try to change it back yourself you are going to get auburn hair since is made your hair carrot orange.

Suck it up and pay to get it professionally repaired.

By the way, there isn't a do it yourself product on this earth that really supports going from brown to blonde.

Question about hair color.?

get a toner in beige colour. it will take away the orange. make sure it is without amonia

Question about hair color.?

go to a hair salon!

you need a hair color specialist, trust me, this is not the time to be saving money, it's repair the damage time!

good luck!

Question about hair color.?

I did the same thing with the same sorts of results, and I had to do student teaching the next day :/.. Anyway, I called a hair stylist. It isn't recommended that you do anything...(disclaimer). However, I went right out and bought another hair color. Make sure that you use something with the word "Ash" in it so that it will minimize the red (or orange) in your hair... I went with a light ash brown, and I looked normal again. However, while you are at the store, go ahead and pick up a leave-in conditioner (I like Infusium) and use that until your hair begins to feel normal again (It's going to be pretty dried out, but it will recover, I promise).

Good luck and have fun at your party!

get a wig, or wear a hat~! LOL

Question about hair color.?

hair mistakes happen. sounds like if you didn't wait long enough for your color to 'come up'. it probably turned red first, then orange and eventually would have turned blonde, but oh well. my advice, get a color from natural instincts. it isn't a harsh hair color and safe enough to use before 48 hours. choose a shade with an "ash" color in it. like a light ash brown. the ash will tone down the orange color. and remember color always turns out much darker when you're coloring from a lighter color to a dark color. so choose a light shade but dark enough to color the orange. then after 48 hours choose a permanent color and remember it always turns out darker. if you go to a salon for a correction, you're probably going to get raked over the coals with charges. they love to charge lots of money to correct color mistakes (they know you're sweating it out). relax, it'll be okay.

Question about hair color.?

it won't hurt your hair just re-dye it try a ash blond or ash brown

Question about hair color.?

if u still have the box your dye came in, u can ring a number they provide to help with problems like this. I recall something similar happening, and they advised something to do with washing my hair in dandruff shampoo about 3x. if u don't have the box,go back to a supermarket %26amp; check the no. on a box on the shelf.. their advise worked for me ..
