Is my hair color aging me ?

I'm almost 30 and have been dying my hair light blond for long time.

I'm very pale skinned with light blue green eyes and I'm growing out my hair which is short chin length right now.

I think that my hair is starting to look washed out and not flattering as a dyed blonde.

I'm thinking that a light Auburn would look best with my coloring.

Any suggestions on my choice ?

dont dye it blonde again as it will become washed out and fake. try to find the natural hair color under all the blonde and if you cant, try something basic(brown,black, or even that auburn that you were thinking about!) good luck! :)

What's your natural hair colour? Wouldn't you like to find out how you look that way - after all, you were made with that colour to go with your complection, etc. Talk to your stylist about getting some caramel streaks or something to work with until you grow out your own hair colour - you will love it! -- and no extra risk of cancer, anymore!

try it. I did and I like me better with darker hair. Go a golden blonde first, and work your way down to a darker shade, one-two shades a month or so

You skin tones change as you get older and you get paler. If your hair color is too pale, it will wash you out. Auburn might be too strong a color. Try strawberry blonde.

well my mom dies her hair blonde and she had the same problem until i told her to try nice n easy. it colors your hair to make it look fresh and natural. instead of blonde try brown with blonde highlights, you wont look too young and you wont look too old.

I can't say if it is aging you. My hair is naturally blonde and I have no grey hair. I am 46. If I looked in the mirror and saw a different color I would freak.

My hair dresser put 50% low lights consisting of a buttery gold color and a rich medium brown. It mostly resembles Jennifer Aniston's color. It still has some blond, which I like, but the color is much more striking and definitely has more depth. My skin color brightened immensely and my eyes pop out now.

i was juuust about to suggest auburn

that's a great choice for natural blondes

dont do anything drastic like dye your hair black, unless you want a gothic look

or if you dont want auburn, consider getting lowlights

they're a less drastic way of completely changing your look

great for your age, instead of trying to look like a teenager dying her hair blonde over and over again.

I think the auburn or even red would look good. Make sure to go to a hair color specialist to have it done though. Your hair is probably porous from coloring light blonde. You might turn up witjh a weird color if you try to color it your self. Good luck
