Is it worthwhile to color very short hair?

I'm a man who wears his hair very short -- a buzz cut all over. If it gets over quarter an inch, I think its getting long.

I've also had my hair colored red in the past, when it was longer, and liked the results. However, my suspicion is that its too short to color now.

well my guess is that you can still dye it. as long as there is hair on your head, it should hold color. but your scalp might also get a lot of dye on it b/c your hair is so short and your scalp is more exposed. so make sure the stylist washes and rinses well after dyeing it. when i dyed my hair jet black i had black patches on my scalp from the dye, and my hair is very long. other than that, i say go for it.

I believe it's worth it if you want it. If it's that short it shouldn't cost that much to do either. If you want to, go for it!

sally's has a touch up pen that comes in black or dark brown i have several clients who use them to get them thru til the next color and if you are just graying at temples this is the best solution your hair is to short and it would be a waste of money
