Herbal Essence hair color?

I have used herbal essence hair color for the past few months and i really like it! but this last time my mom bought the same color I put on mine last time but the box and the picture don't look the same. it was num. 66 the chocolate velvet dark brown color. about 3 months ago i got that kind and it was in a pink box. but this time its in a white box. is that a cheap kind or does it make a difference that it is in a different box??? Also, how long after you wash your hair should you put color on it? I heard that if you put hair color on your head and don't wait a 2 days it will mess up your color. is that true?

On their website they do show where they changed from a white box to a pink one. I doubt it could have been expired, but it's a possibility. When I dye my hair I never use shampoo to get the hair dye out... I rinse it and leave the conditioner they give you for atleast 5 minutes. Washing my hair the day after never messed my hair color up though.

dont use it! i used it, and it turned my hair a greyish purpleish.

wash your hair in the morning, then do it that night.
