Hair color help ?

I have so much color on my hair from over 5 years.. is there anything that I can put on my hair that removes the color.. will it turn my hair white or turn it my natural hair color? Thanks!

I think the best thing for you to do is go to Sally's beauty and pick up a Hair Color Remover. There is one there that is very gentle although semi-permanent. It's supposed to leave your natural hair color untouched.

If you were to strip your hair it would either a- melt or b- turn 500 colors. I have seen and experienced that. It will never be your natural color if you strip it. It will turn a bunch of colors and you will have to fill it then dye over it. As for the white. If you aren't careful and leave it on too long or do too many processes it can turn white. More like a clear color. Besure you fill your hair before you color it or you will have the same effect that you had after you stripped all the color. I definately recommend going to a salon.

You can't remove hair dyes. The pigments have already been absorbed by the hair.

Take it from me. I just went through this last week. Get it professionally done. They are gonna have to strip your hair and start over. Good Luck and dont try to do it at home because you'll have a chance of messing up your hair. After your hair is stripped, then use lots of conditioner and treat your hair carefully and use lots of conditioning products.
