Will coloring dyed blond hair with brown lowlights damage it Is it worth it I hate this yellow brass

All dye damages hair in some way. If you really hate the colour of your hair then go for it if its going to make it look better.

It shouldn't. I dye my hair once every month and my hair is still in tact, shiny, and healthy. You should be just fine. I dye mine color on top of color and I've never had any problems.

i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and i would suggest if you have the brassy look you need to get a purple shampoo called shimmering lights this shampoo will tone down the brassy look and your blonde will shine again. and low lights are good and not to damaging but you will need to remember you are going to have to pick a brown with a yellow base color because any color you apply to a bleached blonde hair will grabe the base color first : example if you choose a plum brown very nice color it will grab the base color of purple and you don't want purple hair . make sure you do not use an ash color either you will be grey and i know you don't want that. ask your stylist they will know what to do .

if you want to get a color that is darker than the color of your hair now, it is possible to get dyes that do not lift color from your hair at all -- they only deposit color. These should not damage your hair, if anything, they will condition your hair and make soft and shiny! If you just want to get rid of brassiness without lowlights you would be better off just using a toner.
